What to include
A first message does not need a specification. The more useful things to cover are:
- What you are trying to achieve, and what is currently in the way
- Roughly where the estate sits today — greenfield, mid-migration, or established and needing remediation
- The timescales you are working to, and any fixed dates driving them
- Whether you are looking for a defined deliverable, embedded support, or an advisory arrangement
If the work is not a good fit — wrong technology, wrong scale, or better served by a larger supplier — you will be told so directly rather than sold into.

Oakdale works directly with clients and through recruitment and consultancy intermediaries. Standard commercial documentation, insurances and right-to-work evidence can be provided on request during onboarding.
